YOUR DANCES ARE GONNA LOOK FANTASTIC
A vast majority of the quince dance don't look good because most of the time the dances are choreographed by a "friend" of the family who "knows" how to dance of by a "choregrapher" who does quinces after his regular job. The result the quinceanera and her court look like 6 year old robots who are still in diapers. And most of the time is not their fault. Is the choreographers mistake and the family for not choosing some one who is a true professional.
If you want your party to have one of the best dances one that you will enjoy watching then you have to start by hiring a great choreographer, he must
- Be professional
- Do this for a living or at least he /she must have a lot of experience doing choreographies
- Be creative
- Know how to teach
- Know how to interact with teens
The Second must important thing after the selection of the choreographer is the selection of the dancers. Ensure that the friends you have invited:
- are the best you can find
- want to do it and are happy to participate and learn
- are committed to do it and are willing to work hard
- have the time to come to class and ALL of the rehearsals
- have full support of their families
YOU PARTY IS GONNA BE FUN
If you hire us and follow our guidelines then we can fully focus on creating a fun routine for your group. Once that the group starts learning the routines and realize that they can look good then you will see them enjoying themselves and their dance. If practices are FUN but serious they will realize the importance of their participation.
Our goal here in Quince Dance Pro is to bring out your group abilities to dance even if they don't know they have them. To help them learn how to move and not feel ackward dancing. To enjoy themselves, enjoy the music the practices and the dance as well as the party itself.
YOU WILL SAVE TIME & MONEY
We all know that time is money. And with all the arrangements of your quince that time is very precious. We value your time and we want you to get the most out of it.
By working with the best your group will learn faster and better not wasting time with a teacher that will drag you for many classes that are unnecessary. We focus on what your group needs based on the dances you want and then we customized the lessons based on that.
Our many years of experience in teaching will save you time and money.
Dont Forget to:
- Plan it ahead: Don't forget that failing to plan is planning to fail. If you have enough time (1 year ahead), sign up for group dance lessons. The more time you have been dancing the more comfortable you will look. Yes, learning to dance will add elegance to your special day. Ballroom dancing has gained popularity over the years, so finding a dance class shouldn't be difficult. Starting early will allow plenty of time to gain dance skills as well as confidence. Private Lesson should start with at least 4 months in advance. A lot of people wait until the very last month even week to take dance lessons. Which is the most stressful time. Making it difficult for them and their instructor. Do not leave your dance until the very end.
- Choosing your Quince dance song: Many Families have a special song. If you don't already have a song in mind, ask your dance instructor or reception DJ for suggestions. Try to limit every dance to about 2 minutes, as any longer will seem like an eternity. The song you choose will help determine the choreography and or the style of your dance. If you want to dance a Waltz but your favorite song is slow rock it might not match that dance style. The song determines the style.
- Learning a simple choreography vs. a fully choreographed dance: This all depends on important is for your that part of your Party. If you want to have a AMAZING quince a fully choreographed song with at least 6 months to prepare is the best. If you just want to be able to get by during your dance a couple of sessions will do. However if you learn the essence of the dance you will turn an expense into an investment because you will use those skills again. A choreography you must likely wont use it again.
- Choosing the right dance instructor: To us obviously this is a very important topic. Regardless of your goals ensure that the teacher "can instruct" not just "show you" how to do it. They must patient so they can go to your speed not theirs. If they get mad at you DO NOT hesitate to immediately switch them this dance is about you not them. The more creative they are the more beautiful pieces they will create for you. look at other pieces they have choreographed and judge by yourselves. We get many quinces that have drop their teachers because they weren't getting what they were looking for
- Make your quince dance sparkle: Put forth an effort to practice and perfect your dance and you will dazzle your friends and family. The more you practice, the more at ease you will feel and appear on the dance floor. But practice the right thing. Practice doesn't make perfect. Practicing the right thing does. Try to sign up for dance lessons at least six months in advance of your wedding day. This will allow plenty of time to learn how to dance, perfect the choreography and gain confidence to perform before a crowd.
These are the most frecuently asked questions
- How much rehearsal time is needed? One hour a week for 16 weeks each dance is ideal
- Choreography types Customized Choreography: Every second of the song is choreographed based on the song selected by you:
- Standard: Dances are already choreographed and client selects from the list.
- Fundamentals: Teaching basic elements of the dance.
- Where do practices/rehearsals take place? They can take place at the dance studio or at your home or other location as long as there is adequate space. Ideally in a place where the size is the same or similar to that of the actual venue. Practices outside the studio require a practice of two consecutive hours minimum. If you decide to use the STUDIO Facilities , Studio charges may apply. Two dress rehearsals should be held at events’ venue four and one week before the event.
- How many dances are performed? There can be as little as one and as many as you like. We do not recommend having more than two minutes per dance and no more than 30 minutes for the whole dance show program. Some examples are:
- Grand Entrance
- Father/Daughter DanceWaltz
- Surprise Dance
- How many dancers should I get? There is no limitation on the amount of participants in the dance. It is the quality of dancers what matters. We have seen better results with fewer committed dancers than with a bigger group of non-attentive dancers. The more commitment and seriousness from your dancers, the less time and money you spent. A contract with the dancers and their parents (if minors) is suggested.
Professional dancers-for-hire are recommended for a more PROFESSIONAL look in your dances. - Who provides the music? You must provide us with the music you have selected, edited by a professional DJ to a length recommended not to exceed more than two minutes. A $40 per song edit charge may apply if you decide to use our DJ’s
- What about costumes? You must provide your own costumes, Costumes should be ready by the first dance rehearsal to allow time for repairs, modifications and to test costume changes.
- What are the policies for rehearsal times and cancellations? All practices are scheduled to start and end on appointed time. If practice starts or runs late due to Sky Dance Studio/Choreographer, we will make-up the missed time. We require a 72 hours cancellation notification.
- How good are your services? Our choreographers teach dance, choreograph and perform around the world. Their resumes include choreographies for Movies, Commercials, Broadway Shows, Competition shows and the Best Private Events. They are full time professional dancers. WE DO NOT do simple and boring choreographies. Choreograph is not their second job. Our clientele include many movie actors, singers and personalities. Our services are among the best in the USA.
Packages customizable to your needs and budget
We have a package to fit your needs your goals your schedule and your budget. And all of them without jeopardizing the quality of the lessons nor of your dances. Although many instructors only focus teaching simple steps to teach you faster they sacrifice the quality of your dances, your might as well watch some youtube videos instead of hiring a pro and save that money. We want to emphasize again we FOCUS on showing everybody how to DANCE and look GOOD.
These packages are fully customizable, you pick what you want and for how long you want it. We don't need to entice you with a "FREE LESSON" and tie you with a contract, looking to profit only from you. We believe we can truly give your quinceañera the touch to make it a special eventl.
Our most important marketing service is not this website nor any magazine. Its our clients and the guests and dancers and their friends. Our reputation backs us up.
Is very simple to calculate the cost choose the dances you want and add their cost. Hr is the number of hours your dancers must come to practice with the choreographer(MANDATORY) and Pc is the number of hours they need to practice on their own.
